First show ever
I stop doing art shows in 1980. I own The Mosaic Art Gallery at 24 North Spring St. Sparta, TN. 38583. Small shop ( one man ) I ain't rollin' in dough, It pays the rent and I eat. Before I came to TN, I was selling my wood art on the highways and byways of USA In my Motor Home
What are the best things about art fairs
you damage your wood sculptures and everything else, I have mostly large pieces.
Best show ever and why
I'm retired from the music business, I still perform, I don't want to go back on the road ( for a thousand years ) with 9 smelly musicians. If I can rent a booth where I can play music ( live ) it turns out to be my best show.
Worst show ever and why
Never had one

Hi Dennis,
I see there are several comments from you on my page -- want to do better and more with your computer? Why don't you start a discussion (on the front page of the site where it says "add a discussion") and ask your questions of the members there -- especially in the Internet Marketing & Websites category.
Are you wanting to start an art fair in your town? Heck, get some friends together and do it. Visit a local town and see how they do it. Contact the public library or an art group and make it happen! You can do it.
Welcome to ArtFairInsiders.com, Dennis. I'm pleased to see you here and look forward to having you as part of our community.
When you have a chance, please stop by the Discussions" area to introduce yourself to the rest of us. We all look forward to your articipation here. Also, visit the "member map" and add your location. We have a lot to offer one another, experienced and newbie alike. Let's make this a dynamic site!
Many topics have already been discussed here before you joined us. You might like to try a search of your topic before you post your question. Just put your topic, canopy tents, jurying fees, Ann Arbor Art Fair, etc, into the search bar at the top of the right side of the page. You might be surprised that someone has already asked your question.
We also ask that all new members take a few moments of their time to read the code of conduct. You will find it at http://www.artfairinsiders.com/page/code-of-conduct. There are a few guidelines that all members will need to follow because , as in any social community, we all need to work together.
Best wishes,
Connie Mettler
