First show ever
Small show in Priest Lake, Idaho
What are the best things about art fairs
Direct contact with my buyers. Plus, I'm in control of my income and don't rely on a gallery that I'm just one artist amongst 100's of others they might choose to "push" over my works.
Best show ever and why
Utah ArtsFest in Salt Lake City. Love that shows long hours and diverse crowd.
Worst show ever and why
Any of the later Custers shows held at the Spokane County Fair Grounds. Same artists are grand fathers in and the customers know this and are staying away because the admission fees get them in only to see the same artists/works. This promoter really needs to rethink this way of judging (or lack there of) in order to keep their show fresh. Don't think they will though which is one reason after doing all their shows I stopped in 2010.

p.s. The best way to make this system easy to use is to click on the "Follow-Email me" link at the bottom of each Forum discussion that interests you. That way the system will email you automatically whenever anyone responds. It's a great time-saver.
