What are the best things about art fairs

Meeting new friends. I love getting to know people which helps me to market my work. I am very thankful for the talent I have been blessed with and I enjoy sharing that and educating folks on the various processes including Giclees' and the surfaces I paint on and the stories behind the images of landscapes...Lake Tahoe, Palm Springs and surrounding areas.


Best show ever and why

A PFA (Pacific Fine Arts) in Homewood, CA. I sold a piece for over $10,000 which proved for me that we can sell our own art without the help of a gallery.


Worst show ever and why

Borrego Springs Circle of Art which is a great show but this particular year we had a "mini tornado" come through which flattened everyone's display. Bad weather is always the worst for shows. A weekend with no sales is better than a bad weather show.

    Hello Denise, Connie asked me to try to help you because she said you were having trouble uploading your photo to your profile. I'm certainly not an expert, but I will try to see if I can help you out. What I did was use a photo that I already had in another social network, such as ClickMillionaires. You may have one in Facebook that you could use. I right clicked on it and a box will open. Click on "save image as". A box will open and you can save the photo under any name you want. Then you click on the orange box where you will be inserting your photo. You should see a place where you can click on a browse button. Click on the browse button and you should see a large box with things you have saved in your computer. Look around for that photo you saved. Click on it, click on the open button and it should appear in the box on your page. Give that a try and let me know if it works.

    If you have a teenager in your house they could probably do it in 2 minutes. LOL

    p.s. The best way to make this system easy to use is to click on the "Follow-Email me" link at the bottom of each Forum discussion that interests you. That way the system will email you automatically whenever anyone responds. It's a great time-saver.
