What are the best things about art fairs

Potential to sell a huge quantity in 1-2 days as opposed to online or consignment, where you might sell 1-10 pieces in a month.

Best show ever and why

Double Decker in Oxford, MS, I had a large inventory available for purchase and there was a huge crowd that was buying. I doubled my sales from last year at this show.

Worst show ever and why

Prairie Arts Festival in West Point, MS. Tough setting up and breaking down, had to walk up a steep hill. It was about 100 degrees and 100% humidity, very few people came out and those that did were not in the "mood" to buy!

Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.

No one really. I just found AFI.com on line a while back and keep coming back to the site looking for information on shows, displays, etc.

What is one fun fact about yourself?

My friends and family typically think of me as a "girly-girl"; not someone who would enjoy hammering, sawing, annealing, riveting, etc.
