What are the best things about art fairs

Being surrounded by creative, productive people and all the other people who admire/enjoy/support us.

Best show ever and why

Celebration of Sitches -- At doors' opening, the informed crowd of shoppers swarmed my booth in a buying frenzy, and a first-time customer purchased an assortment of thirty items at once! (Yes, the check cleared.)

Worst show ever and why

A high-end quilting exposition (who shall remain nameless) whose vendor coordinator admitted a LuLaRoe franchise booth (nothing to do with quilting and set them up right next to me), with racks extending three feet into the aisle and a guy standing there hawking. The crowds, of course, loved it...

Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.

Stumbled across you searching online with a question about a craft/tax issue.

What is one fun fact about yourself?

My set-up is such that I can load the entire booth (4'x8' footprint, plus awning) onto one of its rolling tables and haul the entire works to and from the car in one trip.
