What are the best things about art fairs
I enjoy the interaction with the artists and the art patrons, helping them to have a great show. Plus I get to see some great art!
Worst show ever and why
Back in January of 2013 (?) when we had the wind storms whipping thru Palm Springs. Winds up to 118 mph, coming from all directions, a nightmare. Destroyed just about all of the canopies, although we were able to save some by taking them down quickly. That was on a Saturday, but the artists being a resilient group, we had 30 artists show up on Sunday with whatever they had left to sell. Very inspiring!

I have been reading this site for a few years, trying to learn what I can about art fairs - what works and what doesn't. Now that I am starting my own business, all of this education will be very helpful!

Many topics have already been discussed here before you joined us. You might like to try a search of your topic before you post your question. Just put your topic, canopy tents, jurying fees, Ann Arbor Art Fair, etc, into the search bar at the top of the right side of the page. You might be surprised that someone has already asked your question.
