First show ever

Don't remember......

What are the best things about art fairs

Customers that love what you have made. Other Artists you may only see once a year....but have so much to share with them. To have a job that you love to do.

Best show ever and why

Johnny Appleseed Fest. One of our first shows, I decided I would make 300 of my items to sell. A very high number at that point. We just set our display up across the front of our booth. People were standing in front of our booth, eight people deep. People standing out in the crowd would say... I want that one....and would pass up the money and we would pass their wrapped item out to them. The first day I sold all but 7. We went with a van load. We packed up a small tray of items not sold. We dumped all the money on our bed and rolled in it....lol

Worst show ever and why

Spring MSU. We were placed beside an artist who had some "issues". All weekend we had to deal with her and her problems as it affected us and our booth. Also, the show expected us to park our van in a parking garage, a block and half away from our booth and cart stuff over... way farther than any other show.

Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.

I believe it was sunshine artists website??

What is one fun fact about yourself?

I love roller coasters. I hadn't been on one in many years, but got in line with my oldest son. He, of course wanted to sit in the front of this huge roller coaster. Biggest I'd ever been on....I fully expected to scream the whole ride. I found the front seat scary! I opened my mouth to scream and ended up laughing the whole ride instead....it was great fun!
