What are the best things about art fairs

You get to see the public's reaction to your work. Sometimes the reaction is not what you hope for, but when it's good, it's so very, very good.

Best show ever and why

ACWC Art and Craft Fair at Letchworth State Park (NY). Why? I made $7000 in 3 days. Great customers, wonderful staff, nice location.

Worst show ever and why

Skippack PA. I was next to the gel candle guy, and no one would even look at my booth, they were so enamored with his product. He sold his stuff like Billy Mays. Or the Shticky guy. I sold $200 and paid $90 to be there. Nice promoter, but weird crowd.

What is one fun fact about yourself?

I once met Vanessa Williams--I was a contestant in a Miss America preliminary. Miss Oswego County!
