What are the best things about art fairs

Higher quality of vendors, specific target market, shoppers looking for unusual, unique product. Also the shows are usually very organized.

Best show ever and why

Arts Alive in Tullahoma. My daughter, who was my partner became very ill during the 2nd day of a the show, at the end of the show, and while we were at the er, the staff packed up her booth and trailer for us and the chairman personally brought me my keys. It way way after midnight. We had outsold most other vendors, it was our 1st time showing there, and they were amazing vendors and staff.

Worst show ever and why

We did a benefit show for disabled veterans that was advertised online as a juried art fair, but when we arrived, there had been no advertising, no one knew where it was, no one could find the venue. We were just happy to donate to a good cause, however, I will not work with that organizer again.

  • What a terrible thing to have happen, Carol. It is wonderful that you shared this love of art with her and I'd bet she is proud of you an your skills. Tennessee has some good shows so you shouldn't have to travel far as you learn this business. And remember ArtFairInsiders.com is here at your back where you can always get help from the kind and empathic members. Happy new year.
