What are the best things about art fairs
opportunity to meet people interested in art and tell them your story or story about the art.
Best show ever and why
Local Craft and art show nearby. I entered at the last minute, and was given an outside spot near the entrance to the building where most of the vendors were. All the traffic went by my area, and I was able to display some eye-catching art, so people stopped by. In addition, there were volunteers to help with loading and unloading materials.
Worst show ever and why
Applied to a local show where I thought there would be great traffic, near a brewery. Instead, it was basically in an alley with a brick wall separating the brewery and the vendors. Almost no customers for anyone.

Although I've done photography for many many years, I finally retired and am traveling and got a lot more serious about it.
