Best show ever and why

Catalina Island JazzTrax Festival. Much of my art is related to Jazz and the people were there for the entire weekend, giving them time to really get to know me and my artwork. They were also high earners and had money to spend.


Worst show ever and why

Art San Diego, 2014. Though it was in November, and the show was indoors, it was beastly hot and the building not only had NO A/C, but was designed to not allow air to flow. No one wanted to stay and everyone was cranky. It was a very expensive show and they were trying to take it from being a local show to a national one, but the regular visitors were not receptive to anyone outside of San Diego.

What is one fun fact about yourself?

I drove a cab, at night, in Seattle to work my way through college. I was the only woman on the night shift.
