Carlton's (Oregon) Walk in the Park
What are the best things about art fairs
All the seemingly sincere compliments from strangers who could get away with just tossing off a "nice work" comment. They seem sincere enough that I think if the economy were better, a few of them would turn into sales. But that is just the infernal optimist in me.
Best show ever and why
Last year, the first time I did "Carlton's walk in the Park" I guess, but it wasn't "good". Didn't come close to covering my booth fee
Worst show ever and why
This year, the second time I did "Carlton's Walk in the Park" I sold 1/2 of what I did last year.
