Years in the Art Fair Business

First show ever
A first time event for the sponsor also. An outdoor festival in June here in NC. It was at least 95 degrees, felt hotter. Very few sales. But as with all the shows that I have done, I learned some things. Even had customers give me tips on better shows to apply to.
What are the best things about art fairs
Talking to people, customers and other artists. Getting ideas for what customers like. The rush of getting read, setting up and hoping I have enough inventory. I'm still new at doing shows, so inventory hasn't been a problem.
Best show ever and why
Hopefully that hasn't happened yet. I have a 3 day show coming up in a few weeks. Maybe I will revisit this question then.
Worst show ever and why
That first one. It was just so dang hot and miserable, set up and take down was a disaster.

p.s. The best way to make this system easy to use is to click on the "Follow-Email me" link at the bottom of each Forum discussion that interests you. That way the system will email you automatically whenever anyone responds. It's a great time-saver.
