Has anyone done Winterfair show in the past couple of years? I have never done this show and I hear the Ohio Craftsman Guild puts on a good show. I am a fused glass artist and have had mixed shows this year, some great some o.k., some not so good. Having to cut Thanksgiving short with my family, 4 nights hotel, van rental and all the extras that go with doing an out of town show, I'm just wondering if its going to be worth it. I have a few lower priced items but not many. I'm just scared I might be overpriced for the show. Any input would be appreciated.

I have done both the Winterfair shows each year and have done well every year. (high-end beaded jewelry)
Hope you are staying at the Marriott......fantastic beds after long days at the show. Unloading/loading at both shows is on the stressful side but they do the best they can. ODC has treated me very well and they do bring in the customers.
I did the show last year and it is a very nice show. My sales were good although it was right at the worst of the recession and I could tell. Good luck!
I'm doing the show for the first time this year and driving from Michigan - 4+ Hours away. I think both of the Winterfair shows would be good shows for you, but you really should try to have some "gift" pricing going on. I did the Columbus show last year and heard a lot of artists complaining about a bad show, but I did great. You have to have a decent amount of stuff under $50.00 to do well and if you do, you will get people to look at your more valuable pieces for themselves. Columbus was awesome last year and I expect better this year. Great shows by great people. Good luck...

Thanks Peter,
I need to work on some lower priced items. I have a few, business card holders, chimes, jewelry but not enough to sustain a whole show. If you don't mind me asking, what is your medium? Thanks again,
