Wine Festivals in VA

Has anyone participated in any of the Virginia Wine Trail festivals? They seem to be scouting for vendors and at my last show I received two invitations. One show is in its 5th year with 9 wineries participating. I wonder if attendees shop at these events. Christina

    Hi Christina. Just saw your post. I did a wine/beer/bbq festival in NC for several years-back when I just sold earrings. It was a great success the last 2 hours each night. I had lights on my earrings-they sparkled. The women had been drinking, so, cash flowed. Two years ago, we drove around the NC wine trail festival. Customers were just looking. I have heard good things about the VA wine festivals. No great numbers, but good, better then break even sales. Nothing in the 5 digit range-just under the $3-4,000 mark. But have not heard which festivals, so nothing totally reliable. I'm trying to keep my ear out for any honest news about them. Sorry I can't be more specific.
