I know many shows require a Booth Photo as part of their jury process
I have only done one Art Fair so far and almost forgot to talk a good photo of my booth before taking it down
Should I submit the one I took or the one I received from the previous owner of my Trimline?
Thanks,
Bob

If you want a good photo for sending to quality shows you should take the time to set up your tent in your yard and take a bunch of photos so you can get that one good photo that you like. I've done it several times.
I like the picture on top that is MUCH lighter & very neat, no saggy top, & fine IF the promoter is OK with your chair OUTSIDE the booth (one of my pet p--ves!) In fact I think it looks VERY professional & INVITING.
The smaller photo shows a more evenly lit booth overall and that's better than having the bright sun and darker shadows you've captured in yours. Also, get rid of the name sign for a booth shot since your name shouldn't be visible in jury images.
Larry Berman wrote and published a great little article in September 2014 Sunshine Artist that you might benefit from reading. I read absolutely everything anyone writes about this subject since it always helps to review the basics again and again, and picking up on even one hint/trick can make your work better. THANKS, LARRY!
Thanks for the reference Barrie.
I'll have the article up on my web site tomorrow. But meanwhile if you send me an e-mail I'll e-mail you a PDF of the article.

The jurors need to see the inside of the booth, all three walls.
And it looks like there are too many bins that if people are looking through the prints, it blocks others from entering.

You should submit the one with your work in it. Now if you ask for it to be critiqued, post the picture by itself. The first picture looks like there's a person standing in it.

Thanks Larry.
I would like to request a critique, do I start another discussion right here or in a different forum?

The larger picture is of my booth at the one show I have done so far.
That's the one I would like to have critiqued
Thanks.
Which is which? I'd definitely go with that first one. This second is too jammed with work. Oh ho, as I look closer -- I think I know who was the previous owner of the Trimline.
