Definitely worth it. It can possibly be your best show of the year.

Some things to take into consideration:

20% commission with central sales booths. You hold onto the purchase and give the customer a receipt (special receipts they give you) and they pay and come back for the item.

I've kept my prices the same because I wanted to sell.

They provide the display. Strange triangle shape that leaks in the rain but you can put your racks inside, not your canopy. Bring a few rolls of clear plastic and some 10 foot conduit poles and stuff like that to jury rig some extra protection.

Bring lights, they give you a few clip on lights but you can add a few of your own.

Six day show with set up on Monday. Tuesday could easily be the best day because all the corporate people come around by 8:00 in the morning. BE PREPARED to open early after having set up completely on Monday.

If you can put a $5.00 item together for the kids area, you can make some good extra money. It has to be related to what you have in your booth.

Bring expense money. You don't get a check until a few weeks later.

Bring warm clothes and rain gear, including boots. It can get rainy and cold and you have to sit there for long hours.

Parking - if you're still pulling a trailer, leave it parked close to the
show. Close parking is at a premium. Especially if you have to work out of your vehicle.
