What are you Doing This Weekend - July 15-17?

After last weekend's blockbuster events throughout the Midwest (didn't you have a show?) this weekend is a little quieter while artists recoup from the last month's sales and ready their inventory for next weekend's extravaganza in Ann Arbor. A few are hitting the road already, heading to that biggie. Anyone in State College this weekend? Anywhere else? Inquiring minds want to know. Please let us know so we can meet face to face at an art fair.

I had another trunk show at the salon on Friday. I'm hoping to build a local/NYC clientele through that.

I'll be visiting Art in the Park sponsored by the Southampton Artists Association. Fine art only - no jewelry, except perhaps those that have been grandfathered into the show. Curious to see when I get there.

Then expecting out of town guests tonight for the rest of weekend.

Summer Art Fest, Gig Harbor WA. While the rest of you may be resting after the big shows last weekend, this is THE weekend the Pacific NW ramps into high gear for summer art shows. Now, if summer would just cooperate and show up as well, you'd have some happy artsits. Today - Seattle - overcast and 65 -tomorrow's forecast - rain all day - 62.

Sigh, still waiting for summer to make an appearance for all these "summer" art shows!!

Resting up for Ann Arbor! Getting the truck serviced. Making new stuff to hang at the Guild show.

I'll be in the State Street section of the Summer Art Fair next week. Booth #136.
