What are you doing this Weekend? June 24-26

Big art fair doings this weekend, including the "whole town is on fire" in Des Moines. Sweet regional shows in Elk Rapids, Lathrup Village, Arlington Heights, Gaithersburg, Fort Wayne, Grand Haven and Duluth's biggie, Point Park. Will you be there?

Want to meet some AFI'ers at the show? Tell us where you'll be and your booth # and you can meet one another fact to face. Word has it that Munks is putting together a gathering in Des Moines. I was severely tempted to be there, but don't think I can justify a seven hour drive, even to snort wasabi with the best of them.

I am considering doing Art fest The Other Show in Des Moines 2012. Does anyone have any experience with the show? I see I can have a booth inside which sounds great in June! Thanks! Linda

  Linda, this is an old thread -- why don't you post this as a new discussion so you can get more information? Also, there is a lot of stuff about the shows in Des Moines on this site to help you out.

I'll be at Live Arts Bothell, a little local show. I'm hoping it will be a bit better than the Edmonds Arts Festival of last weekend, which is usually a good, big show but this year was pretty bad for most. I'm ready for a nice little show.

  Visiting Steph this Sunday at Bothell Live arts and then having a belated Father's Day dinner with my Dad in the next town over from Bothell.
  
  We took the weekend off as we didn't find any shows we really wanted to do and yardwork is calling our names!!
  
  We've heard mixed reviews on Bothell Live Arts but know at least 10 artists that are participating so we figured we could check out the show Sunday afternoon and decided if it's worth a try for next year. It's a show we were accepted into but declined to participate after having another jewelry artist tell us we were better off taking the weekend off than doing that show, going to see if she was truthful or not.

I'm hoping to attend the Covington Art Fair in Fort Wayne, IN, or at the very least be there this evening to help my brother Michael Mettler set up his photography booth.

Biddefair Arts & Handmade Crafts Festival, Shevenell Park Biddeford, Maine.

In one mile, in downtown Biddeford/Saco, there will be three Festivals- Biddefair, La Kermesse, and Saco Sidewalk Arts Festivals. The last two weekend shows have been wet and windy, with thunderstorms, so I am hoping this one will have better weather!
