It's full of people who really "do" Internet marketing and content creation (not just consultants). Plus, it's a lot of fun with parties, activities, and interesting panel discussions of all kinds.
As their website says: "Come to BlogWorld L.A. and you'll learn how to create better content, grow your brand, audience and revenue online from the world's most successful New Media content experts and Social Media innovators. More than 200 Speakers, 3 Days of Education and a Tradeshow Exploding with New Media Resources ... plus great Networking Events too.
This definitely takes me out of my comfort zone but I'm hoping to learn some things that will be helpful. I can't just go and enjoy myself and not bring new information home. Right?
I'll be attending with my son, Scott Fox, an Internet marketing expert, and we'll be meeting people from his online community, ClickMillionaires.org. It would be so cool if some of you from this community could join us also. Any chance?

haven't exhibited in the show for a few years. Predominantly jewelry and clothing. Free admission pass online.
Thank you for this wonderful website._
I see the Great Gulfcoast Art Festival is taking place in Pensacola this weekend. Are you there? It looks like they are having some chilly weather: http://www.pnj.com/article/20111104/NEWS01/111104012/Crowd-braves-c...
I'll be looking for a show report or at least a tequila report.
Flying from Detroit to Los Angeles through Denver this week was quite a shock -- snow everywhere! Deicing, etc.
I'm doing a small show that I do each year with my glass bead guild in Michigan, called Winter Wonders.
on Saturday, Nov 5th, 10am-5pm at the Birmingham Unitarian Church.
So what does it mean to be featured artists? We answer a lot of questions about our work, our inspriration, talk about the "limited editions" or "one of a kind" pieces we brought with us, watch many items already in inventory at the gallery sell with the standard commission, sell one of our "one of a kind" pieces and go home happy knowing that at least a few of the sponsors and regular attenders got their husbands to attend with "hints" of what they really wanted for Christmas. Hoping this sets us up with the a nice commission check for November sales!! Lovely night in Ellensburg, but have to admit we're glad to be home where it's at least 20 degrees warmer and NO WIND!!
I'll be at Miromar Outlet Mall in Estero, FL at Patty Narozny's Hot Works show. Not that I wouldn't love to be in LALA-land investigating the blogosphere, but this show's right down the street from my house so it's hard to pass up!
Have fun!
