WaterPROOF Pop-Up Tent?

Is anyone familiar with these Pop-up tents that claim they are 100% waterproof and not water resistant?

I have a Trimlime that I relay like and it is waterproof but I would also like to have a Pop up tent for some one day shows . I don't want another flimsy pop up like I had before my TL and I often wonder what others have run across for a top of the line Pop-up. I can't imagine being the only person who would want a waterproof heavy duty popster


Most pop ups have a polyester top...but the one i noticed in the above link has a heavy duty vinyl waterproof top like the Trimline.

If only Trimline made a pop-up tent also...
What is the absolute strongest and most heavvvvy duty frame for a pop up that you have seen? There seem to be numerous ways to waterproof an existing top but what about an extre heavy duty frame?

    I have been using Caravan Canopies for ever and for the first time I can say I amactually interested inanoter brand. I contacted the company for the link you posted and they are sending me swatches for the two materials they use. One is a 500 Denier polyester which is ony water resistant. The other is a vinyl which does not have seams. I was preparing to order a new canopy from Caravan when I saw your post. I will not wait until Imget the swatches to make a decision.

        Hi Rich,

        I'm in the same boat as the rest of ya'll.

        Looking for a quality pop up tent.

        Rich, did you ever get the new tent or another? What have you learned? i imagine many of us are eager to learn more. There just isn't a plethora of feedback on some of these brands like there is for Trimlines.

      Rich...I could not imagine ever using another water-resistant top again. My first tent I bought when I first started doing shows came with a water resistant top and I would now never want to constantly be using sprays to hopefully help it out. Vinyl is the way to go in my opinion.

        I've used ez ups for 20 years.  Not wise to make blanket statements.  Depends on the set up and the work.  Also, EZ ups that I buy at Sams' club for $200 seem to be good at repelling water.  Don't have any problem with my current one.  I think they are sealing the seams now which is where most of the problem comes from.  

        But why tell a potter they shouldn't use a resistant tent if a tiny bit of water wont' hurt the product.  To some extent you get what you pay for but not everyones needs are the same and $200 vs $1200 is a big deal.  My ez up has withstood 30 - 40 mph winds and it's all in how you set it up.  I've spent $600 total on 3 ez ups over 20 or so years- about 300 shows. na-   na-na  na  na ! Works for me

        And by the way... According to another post a few days ago, having a pop up makes us unprofessional.

          I think anyone saying a pop up makes us unprofessional is full of crap. I have a Trimline for my main tent and a pop up for one day shows ...does that make me both professional and unprofessional?

      Robin...it is a   Gorilla max pop up. Comes from Promotional Design Group in California. I set it up the day after I got it and that afternoon we had a stormy windy day with over 3" of rain. No leaks whatsoever and no puddling on the top like so many pop up tent do.

      I am waiting for some Upper and Lower Sta-Bars from Flourish. I plan to use it at some local one-day Art markets that are both in short driving distance from my house. One thing I have learned is even at a one day show it can storm and rain very intensely

    We sprayed ours with clear flexseal!! Do inside and out.
