Hello everyone! this is my first discussion here so I am looking forward to some great advice from you all! I sure do need it. I am a new artist (illustrated photography) and have exhibited at just one juried show this past spring. It went very well. I used tall metal trellises from Ikea to hang my art. They worked great but they were hard to transport and very heavy so I'm trying to find an alternative for my next show in a few weeks. I need something that is lightweight, that can be folded/easily dismantled so I can fit it in my car, and that looks professional and clean. I'm interested in mesh walls - are those good? I have a Caravan 10x10 eCanopy tent. I am on a budge so I can't purchase those amazing professional walls that I would love to have. I will post a couple of pictures of my space from my first show. The tent in the photos was not mine - I was in a larger tent with 5 other emerging artists so I haven't actually used my own tent yet. Anyway, any suggestions on good art walls would be most appreciated - please be gentle with me! :)

Hi Kathleen,
Too bad the trellises are so heavy because they look pretty sweet...are they actually intended as flower trellises or are they meant for display? I'm not experienced enough to weigh in but I'm sure if you look around the site, you'll find booth display examples and check the classified section too for some options.
You came up with a very interesting solution, there! Sounds like the downside of the weight means it won't be a good long-term solution, though. I bought a full set of gently used Pro Panels on Craigslist (we live in Chicago but I searched all around our area until finding them outside Cleveland... and then paying for a couple tanks of gas to someone else who was passing through.)
Mesh walls sound like an attractive solution too - I don't have enough experience with any of these to weigh in effectively, but wish you the best as you figure out your gear!
