I received an advertisement from Vistaprint indicating that they have teamed up with PayAnywhere for a mobile credit card solution.  This seems like competition for Square D since they have a lower per swipe fee.

They are advertising only 2.69% per swipe fee with no monthly, cancellation or hidden fees and free mobile app and card reader.

Has anyone heard of PayAnywhere?  Feedback?

  • This is the same company that"handles" Intuit, GoPayment.  I have friends that have been using the Intuit swiper and are very happy. I have the same problem with the design of the card reader itself as with the Intuit and the soon to be released PayPal reader, They won't fit over my iphone's protective case. (Although after just looking at Intuit, it seems they have changed their design so it now will.)

I think the difference in fees is pretty slim; 2.69% vs 2.70% . Not enough to get my heart racing. If you do $1,000. worth of sales per mo. the Intuit pay per mo. is still the best deal. $11.95 per mo. with 1.7% rate for swiped cards. If you don't do shows most of the year, and go for the no monthly fee they are all pretty much the same.
