I am a photographer using the wet plate collodion process. I make tintypes, ambrotypes and prints from glass negatives. I have been doing wet plate work and gallery shows for 13 years. About 3 years ago I decided to try Art Fairs.  Ive only done 3 shows since getting started and plan to be more active this coming year.

I look forward to getting more serious about shows this year and am happy to have found this site.

    Great to have you here, Robert. It is very refreshing to find someone who is using the old technology to make photographs, this should be a selling point for you at art fairs as well as for getting into the shows. Best wishes!

      Thanks Sabrina. All the pictures in my portfolio were taken by me, they arent old. I use 150 year old lenses and a camera that is over 100 years old. I process them just like they did in the mid 1800s.

    Hello Robert and welcome. Your work sounds very interesting to me. I love photography and the art of making a tintype seems like such a fascinating craft. I hope you post some photos of your work. I would love to see some of them. I have one old tintype of my great grandfather and I treasure it.
