Did anybody hear from Telfair Art Festival? ZAPP page shows “jury in progress”. I also did not find any jury result notification date on Telfair ZAPP information page(and on show website), but I see that accepted artists must submit booth fee by July, 10 – which is passed already. So I am very confused about all thing. I sent an email to the show, but did not receive any answer.

Barry, I called them today and got an answering machine message: " if you are calling regarding art festival, all acceptance notifications are sent out".
I've heard nothing back from Telfair either and I also sent them an email last week that hasn't been answered. If you find out anything, Marina, please post it here and I'll do the same.
Hi Larry and thank you for reply. I agree that status is irrelevant until the scores are out. But scores are out long time ago if show wants booth payment from accepted artists by July, 10. Today is August, 4 and I still don't have any notification. It is big deal for me(and for another arists too) because I build my schedule to earn my living. I have heard about shows that notify only accepted artists and don't bother about rejected, but we all(accepted and rejected) pay the same application fee and deserve the same respect and service.
The status of an application on ZAPP is irrelevant until the scores are out. Shows can enter anything they want for the status, update it or not. It has no bearing on what's actually happening behind the scenes. Kind of like the red button that controls the walk sign on traffic light pole.
Being behind on their notifying artists is no big deal but if you want to contact ZAPP and have them check with the show, the phone number is 888-562-7232.
