For artists who keep a table in their booth to display smaller work or use as a desk to write up transactions.
Target has a folding table that I've found to be the perfect size. It's 20"x48". I have a number of them at home for laying out artwork to photograph. I also replaced the top on one with 1/2 inch plywood wrapped with the same color dark gray carpeting as my Pro Panels.

I have the folding table from Target but it also folds in half and has handles on it. (http://www.target.com/s?keywords=folding+banquet+table&searchNo...) and it does go on sale from time to time which is when I got it. You can get bed risers to put underneath the legs and that will raise the height of the table. Bed, Bath and Beyond carries them. Does anyone know where to get inexpensive table skirts? I'm doing a church bazaar this is requiring these.
I love this table. It is a great height. I can stand and write up receipts and customers can fill out info standing. It can also handle the rain no problem. It folds up really easy along the side of my mini van. It still looks good enough where I don't need a table cloth, but I can always paint the top later on when it starts to look worn. I heard a few other artist walk buy and say they needed something like this table. Don't know why they didn't ask me where I got it. I would have gladly told them.

Hi Melanie, I don't mind. I just don't find that round tables fit into a tight space. I didn't add that I increased the leg height on my table to 40 inches:
Hi Larry
I have these tables and never realized I could make them taller. How did you extend the legs? Thanks

1/2 inch electrical conduit and a few sheet metal screws. The 1/2 inch conduit fits inside the legs and I drill a pilot hole through the outer legs and screw in a small sheet metal screw. You can even get rubber feet for the bottoms of the 1/2 inch conduit inner legs.
Thanks for your idea about lengthening the legs. Maybe over the quiet winter I will attempt this. Charlene

Charlene,
I got 4 ft foldable tables at Sam's Club which have adjustable height - stardard height, counter height, and a shorter height. They are 4ft x 2 ft.

Ikea also has tables of this size which I use at home to work on. They have screw in legs which you can buy either a standard height or adjustable height. I like them for home because they are not so deep. For my booth I use folding tables I got at Sam's similar to your table but a little deeper.

They also have fitted tablecloths for the 4 and 6 ft tables.
Hope you don't mind me adding this table to the post. I looked for awhile for something like it.
