So, a little off topic here, but State College, PA, is part of our art fair world. In fact, when you hear Chicago, or Milwaukee or Belleville or Ann Arbor artists think "Old Town", "Lakefront", "Fair on the Square" and "Art Fair" with capital letters. So when I hear State College my ears perk up.
We spent many an exciting July day on the campus and streets of State College and often stopped in to spend a few days there with our friend photographer, Bill Coleman. I'm also a fan of college football, so I've been following the story of the sex abuse perpetrated by the assistant coach. Today the University's Board of Trustees fired head coach Joe Paterno and the University president.
