I received a notice from this show that it has been cancelled. Just to let everyone know that may have applied or planned to show up. Here is the message I received.
Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we find it necessary to cancel the 2017 South Miami Rotary Art Festival which was to have taken place February 25-26. It was after much deliberation that we made this decision feeling that it was in the best interest of all. Over 33 years we have attempted to provide the best possible dates and venue for a quality show and are already planning our February 24-25, 2018 festival, to make it great for all of us.
We are truly sorry for any inconvenience this cancellation will cause you, your family, and your business. Please be assured that we are issuing a 100% refund including the $30 application fee to all artists who were accepted or wait listed to the festival. Refunds will be processed within 30 days.

Thanks for posting this info and I am impressed that they are refunding 100% with app fee as well!
That is really interesting. They have advertised with me for years and they contacted me in June to renew it. Yet in the intervening months I never heard from them again, nor did they return my messages. I'm thinking someone key to the operation must be ill or something happened to him. Some of the non-profit art fairs rely heavily on a few key people and the "institutional memory" is missing when they leave the organization.
I got to talk to somebody with show. Very apologetic but someone screwed up and apparently requested wrong date for festival with city bureaucrats. When mistake was discovered another event had taken over the street. Its all very weird. they say they will be back next year. Meanwhile, I had applied to St Stephens and they are still doing jury even though website says jury finished by mid November and payment due by Dec. 1. No response when I called or to my text. My Florida show schedule is evaporating. Getting to late to fill in with HAE shows. This is a mess
Yes Ive been trying to contact St Stephens all week at least I know they're not ignoring me lol. I wish they'd let us know something ,anything . Yes I was also in S Miami Rotary .I feel your pain just
