Shows frequented by Snowbirds - Spring or Fall - which is better?

If we were planning a trip south for shows and could only do either the spring or fall shows in the destinations popular to "Snowbirds" in either AZ or FL, any advice on whether spring or fall is better?  Trying to decide between a Oct-Dec road trip vs. Jan - Mar.

    Jan to mid March is the best Florida show season. It's locals that attend the fall shows.

        You always want to check to see when Easter falls.  It begins a mass exodus. :-)

    Great question, Ruth!

    Someone else will have to speak for AZ. 

    But in FL, it's no contest: Jan.-Mar. is far busier than Oct.-Dec.  On top of that, rainy season in FL doesn't end until (most years) before Oct. 20.
