Is it me or are there more that are getting tired of how shows handle app and acceptance and rejection timelines.
We are givin a time schedule on most shows and we the applicants must follow the deadlines. But shows lately are not following there schedule.
So far in 2 shows I have applied to they have extended the due date. Hummmmm did they not meet the app fee quota? Or let's see if we can get a few more to apply for there booth fee.
Then there's the notification dates. I no there are issues that come up but shows that have been going for 25-30 yrs. same thing every year.
A lot of shows Post what dates they will notify you or send you a email say expect to see and email in 2-3 days . Never to hear from them sometimes a couple weeks later than stated. There are other shows that could be applied to if they would stick to there schedule. We have to apply by a deadline shouldn't they??
So this is my thoughts as I wait for a email that was suppose to arrive last week.

It's quite simple. If you don't like the way the promoter does things, you pass on that show.
