I want to give a shout out to all you people who are writing detailed graphic reviews of art fairs. At one time, only Nels, Jim, and I were writing these reviews. We were also begging others to write them and nobody would. Now, I get to lurk and find out which shows to do, especially in the new center of the art world, Missouri, the birthplace of John Ashcroft.

It only took 6 hours to get the John Ashcroft art connection joke. I'm impressed!! Oklahoma City is sacred ground, now. We can only talk about the place in hushed tones. Did you know that they are saying that the first tornado might be the widest tornado on record? And the second was headed towards downtown, when it veered off. I talked to Angela and she said nobody from the Arts Council lost a home. If they have an art auction benefit to aid the unfortunate, I will post it here.
I was serious about what I said. I am enjoying reading the show reviews. There are at least 5 people writing them now and they are not half bad. Connie, don't make me whine. I can't write a review without whining about buy/sell. Buy/sell has reached epidemic proportions. Tell Kathy Hughes if she pays for my gas, I will come to La Quinta. I want to do La Quinta. Oh, and btw, I was never a professional writer. I had a paper route, scooped ice cream, sold shoes, worked road construction a couple of summers when I was in college, was a buyer for a small chain of shoe stores, and I was a DJ during the disco era, but, I never had a job as a writer. I once had an astrological reading from my friends sister and she said I had writing in my future. That was the closest I got to a writing career.
