Located in Northern Illinois,this custom display folds flat (except glass triangles) and fits into a hatch back. Easily handled, I'm only 5'4 and female. It has a folding floor for bumpy terrain, shelves in back and hatches for locks on 2 bigger display panels. Display boards come out for easy arrangement and to lock. I know, time does fly! I'm retired as of last year from teaching, but wanting to get into other forms of art, encaustic, abstract painting and maybe adding encaustic to some jewelry work. I still would like to explore enamels more also.
If you or anyone is interested in the display, let me know, price is flexible. The outside surface is a durable wall covering and I have extra silver tape. You could also recover the surface with something else.
It was designed by an art designer and my husband. You might remember he teaches fine woodworking and furniture design so he helped in the design process and did the building.
The beauty for me was it was very durable but light weight and I was able to fit the entire display into the back of a civic honda station wagon. I also have a handmade tent that would withstand Florida storms. One year we were down doing shows and we found someone that made custom tents. It's not as fast a set-up as the ez-tents but 10 times more durable and still light weight enough that I could set it up myself.
