Hi, my name is Lynn and I am a silk painter. I paint scarves, purses and paintings that I stretch on frames. I do all the sewing and hand dyeing, I've been doing this for eight years. Just started doing local shows.

I love to sew also, but have not tried hand dyeing or working with silk...sounds like fun and interesting to see how each new piece will turn out. The silk dyeing is great, there is nothing so viberent than using dyes. It's a lot of fun and how they blend ia amazing. You should try it.

No, I make a lot of different things from the silk I dye. I also do table runners & pillows. What do you do?
