I can't find any news about this show listed on zapp, 3rd week of April. (5th annual) - It falls on a weekend that I'm returning from 4 bridges in Chattanooga, on my way back to NY, so it would be a nice little break in the hustle around here lately in south Florida. Zapp has weak info, and when I find the website for the show, it does give all the details, but I have no clue how this show is rated.. My AFSB's are in my studio, and not with me and the deadline is near, but I have never heard of this show before. I dont find this show listed anywhere else, so I'm going to pass, but thought I'd find out if anyone has done the show.. with results that would warrant the stop for the weekend.
thanks! Mark MacKinnon

It's a local show for me, but I don't do it. It is primarily tourists that go to the show, so if you have low price points and small items you might be ok, but don't expect many locals to show up.
And as mentioned, set up/breakdown is exhausting!
I will say that April is prime tourist season here, so you might have a bit of luck based on that alone.
I did this show a few years ago, be forewarned it's a very hard set up. You have to dolly over cobblestones and parking is very very tight to set up and breakdown. Also the judges came by on the set up night to judge your work which was really strange because most of us only had our booths up. My sales weren't good enough to warrant a return trip even though I had a free place to stay with friends. Good luck
On Zapp look under "Fine Arts on the River 2010". The word Savannah doesn't appear associated with this show on the participating shows page. Odd. Also they have a paper application available at http://www.riverstreetsavannah.com/apps/2010_finearts.pdf . It states paper apps are accepted and Zapp is an "alternative" method. Doesn't exactly give the feeling they are well organized. I think this is also a date change for the show. I have not done the show but heard mixed results from prior years participants.
