I'm a photogrpaher from New York, doing shows this winter in Florida.. Come April I was thinking of doing shows in Texas, but only invited to the San Antonio show, the fiesta weekend.. (my sister lives there).. free place to stay. I heard the 4 brigdes show was a good one, maybe a sleeper? (I'm looking for sophisticated audiences, not low-mid priced prints) Im invited to both, and need to pick one, unless of course Im invited to St. Pete in Florida same weekend, jury is out until 1/15.. (might be tired of Florida by then) I need to reply to San Antonio by that date.. My inclination is to try 4 bridges..

Oh, I see. I was thinking of it as meaning invited BACK. When jurying in I usually use, “Accepted” . But I forget what Zapp uses for this.
Invited does have nicer connotations.

I didn't hear great reports from San Antonio last year, Mark. Put "San Antonio" in the search box at the top of this page and see what people said. You might also query member Ginny Herzog, I believe she was there.
That aside, I do know the people at the 4 Bridges and they are working hard to make this a pre-eminent event. I always try to choose the closest show, unless there is a blockbuster farther away.
(Another tip, the "tags" work strangely on these Ning sites - phrases, such as "San Antonio" need to be put in quotes to keep them together, then the comma.)
