I recently read some info about the Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Festival in Albuquerque, NM. It is an art show that is held in conjunction with a massive hot air balloon festival.
Has anyone participated in this show in the recent past and if so, what are your opinions of it?

I did the spring show last year, and I did well, because of commissions after the show. My sales at the show were OK but not great. I heard from people at the show that the balloon fest show, which is in the fall, has very good potential. I will say that the organizers are very good, and there seemed to be solid marketing in place. The spring show is indoors, the site is good, move-in and move-out were well organized. I'd expect the fall show is the same.

Someone who is not an artist emailed me that they had gone to this show before and thought it was amazing seeing all the balloons and heat that inflates them rising at daybreak...but no mention of the art festival section...
