I am going to indulge my yearly need for a humbling experience and apply for a show I have little chance of getting. This year it is Mt Gretna. Now that I've been able to do our Chautauqua shows here, I am hungry for more. I will apply with handbound books and mixed media collage.
This past season I experimented with making prints of my collage and they sold very well. This requirement from the app info confuses me:
"Artists may not have a display ratio greater than 10 to 1 for offset lithograph reproductions to every original. The ratio refers to commercial reproductions and not to artist pulled prints."
Does this only apply to printers or is there an allowed ratio for all repros? We would be printing them on an Epson 4900. Does this eliminate note cards also? Mine usually pay my expenses. I would hate to not have them.
I may be over my head. Or out of it.
Anyone know?
