Hope your holidays were jolly and full of small moments to cherish. This was our 3rd annual Secret Santa exchange and it was full of many kind thoughts. We are a community, all working in the creative economy and using our gifts and living by the seat of our pants to create a meaningful live for ourselves.
I enjoyed the Secret Santa exchange. Some great gifts were exchanged. You could really tell these did not come from China ;), but were lovingly handmade by all of you.
Thanks to participants Robert Wallis, Scott Pakulski, Brian Billings, Larry Berman, Patricia DeMaria, Ellen Schneider, Trudi Van Dyke, Wendy Lea Holder, Sandra Schwarzbeck, Ruth Jellema, Patti Monroe-Mohrenweiser, Jacki Bilsborrow, Maureen Roberts, Joan Tweedell, Carrie Jacobson, Sabine Chadborn, Deborah Brodie, Diane Dhom, Kathy Clausen, Kerri Bash, Larry Raineri, Lida Arthaud, Marsha Scherer, Sharon Jeter, Wendi and Jenny Unrein.
I received a gift that I prize from my Secret Santa and others did also as reported here: http://www.artfairinsiders.com/forum/topics/santa-s-presents-arrivi...
As promised everyone who posted showing gifts will be receiving compliments of AFI my upcoming e-book "Succeeding in the Art Fair Business: 20 Tips". (My New Year's resolution is to get this finished!)
In addition, everyone who participated will receive our famous Red Dot bumper sticker in the mail. Please email me your mailing address, and a special "santa" gift on their page on AFI. Be on the lookout.
The judges chose Robert Wallis to be the winner of the best post about his gift. They appreciated his extreme efforts to learn to how to shoot jewelry and what he learned along the way.
Robert wins a waterproof, shockproof and environmentally friendly, ChargeDefense Solar Charger can keep your smartphone fully charged - right at your booth. Hope you can use it, Robert. (Plus, I think this is the second year you have received jewelry that you've given your wife, so this prize is for you).
I don't know who was my Secret Santa and I'd guess Robert doesn't know either. Does anyone want to disclose their identity?
Thanks to everyone who participated. It was fun for me to organize and I loved seeing the gifts. Hope you'll play with us again next year.
P.S. I will always treasure my gift, a warm reminder of the caring that I have received from this community.

Wow, I didn't expect that! Thank you and the judges very much :-) I've been open ended on the wish list, and always mention that if someone's media is jewelry or woman-oriented that it's appreciated also and my wife will get it. The charger will be a handy gadget as I've sweated more than once than the cell battery will last until the end of the show.
I agree, Robert. I ordered one for myself also. It looked very useful.
