Some people could be interested, some nosey, sometimes it could be your competition but at the same time what they see is what they get??? What to do? This could be great for jewelry but what about for original paintings?

  • Thank you everybody. I will add prices. Connie, I want it as an info page, but I have items that I would love to sell there. And yes Larry, I think the more questions I can answer the better. Thanks!!
  • I have my prices.
  • What is your purpose for having a website, Carla? Is it to get people to call you? Is it to do promotion for your shows? Or, is it intended to be an e-commerce site? If you want to sell from your site the prices have to be there. People will want to know the prices. I always believe that at art fairs everything should be marked for price. Many will not ask prices and are more than curious about the prices of things but may be hesitant to ask.
  • If you expect to be able to sell from your web site, there needs to be prices along with a description on the page with each item. Just like your individual image descriptions on ZAPP or JAS. Even if you want people to call to order instead of using a shopping cart, you need to answer as many questions as they might have before they contact you.
