Heading to Pigeon Key? Looks like there may be bad weather and the organizers are scrambling to take it indoors. Indoors? in Florida? How bad can the forecast be? Anyway it is good to see them doing everything they can to salvage the event for everyone.

They put it at the airport because high winds were predicted. It turned out very well. They did a good job in a short time and worked very hard to make sure the show went well. Although there were not many artists and not huge crowds I thought it went fairly well for the short notice change and the weather predictions. Other artists I spoke with and myself were happy with sales, making expenses plus extra.
Curious......the forecast here says scattered thunderstorms with 40% chance of rain on Sat. and few thunderstorms possible on Sunday. The forecast for our show was much worse than that and we never saw so much as a drop of rain! I never even worry about rain here unless it is like 70% or over. We are a really small target in the forecast area! I wish them luck....... If it is nice, who wants to go indoors?
Even stranger is that today's Key West newspaper had a press release about the entertainment and talked about it being in the park. That is the first PR I had seen about the show at all!
Not sure I'll make the drive ...... to go to the airport!! Hope others don't feel the same way!
