Hi- I've never posted here, but would appreciate some input. I was updating my website and found that a different website has a photo of my work on their site. As the site is mostly in Spanish and seems to be selling books, I'm baffled. The photo doesn't have any of my info or link to my site. Has anyone else had this happen? What should I do?
Thank you!

Thank you all for the input! Larry- it's not really doing any harm that I know of, it was just a little unnerving. It's not linked, it's just a photo that's been copied & pasted. Jacki- when I update my website, I can see how many sites are linked to mine- which the photo is now on three sites not just one. The website it was first on is:
http://sr-libro.com/?cxy=vziq.php4 It's the metal sculpture at the bottom of the page.
Now that it's on three sites I guess I'll have to figure out how to put my web address on each photo... ugh
Thanks again for your help!!!

Linda, are they selling your photo? How did you ever find out someone was using your photo?
I can't add anything to Larry's comment. He is an expert.

Are they deep linking or have copied the image? If they are linking, you can change the name of the image in your images folder and it will disappear from their site. If they copied the image you can contact their hosting company and have them forced to take it down. If it's linked, you can also add a copyright to the image along with your web site URL and replace the image in your images folder. That way anyone who sees it knows where it's coming from.
