Can anyone give me some insight on whether this show is likely to be worthwhile for a fine artist, and not fine craft artist? I'm having trouble finding much information about it.
My work was accepted, but I'd like to know more about the show before I commit to the expense. If you prefer, please message me directly.
Thank you,
Sarah Pollock

I have a friend who has done this show more than once. She has geometric abstract paintings and large giclees, along with smaller pieces, all gallery quality fine art. She does sell at paragon, and it seems to pump up her mailing list, but she has yet to make back the booth fee (nevermind other fair expenses). Craft-oriented fairs and fairs with too much (>30%) Fine Crafts are very difficult for artists, in my experience.
I think when you say large giclees, you mean large reproductions. Those can only be sold at shows that allow reproductions.
