Try this site..cheaper than Uline and I've found the brown craft bags with the cord handles work well. I haven't had my wood stuff break through yet. I also get tissue here.

Does anyone know where to get the really small bags with the cord handles? I have bought some at Michael's but that is too expensive. I sell jewelry and for some purchases I like to use the mini bags.
I also sell jewelry and I often will use the brown paper bags you can buy in the dollar stores/wal-mart, etc. The bags are the lunch sack size. I will then decorate them with stamping and/or labels with my logo on them. During the evenings, I will also stuff each bag with a business card, that way the customer will have a card as a reminder of my website and I have received extra sales that way as well.
I have recently switched to using the clear reclosable clear bags with a label on them. I then instruct my customers to keep their sterling silver and gold filled items in the bag to prevent tarnishing.
When I do the local farmers market I use paper bags with a big stamped logo on the front.I don't like the plastic and it was harder for me to stamp.People with multiple purchases will just put another bag in front of yours and so others may not see it anyway.
I keep a wide roll of heavy-duty brown kraft paper in the tent to finish & seal frame backs. It works just as well to package any sized art by using a diaper fold to add extra padding at the corners, the most vulnerable part of the frame, and ordinary brown package tape to seal it. Didn't do a price check but it can easily be cut to size and must be less expensive than keeping a supply of multiple bag sizes.
I color-printed paper labels to paste on the packaging with my avatar and other vital info for advertising but love the idea of using a custom stamp instead.
I did end up going local, at my restaurant supply place. Prices downright cheap. Thx for all the good idea, guys! Love the stamp idea as well.

As previously mentioned here...try a restaurant supply outlet. I purchase my white shopping bags with handles from the Restaurant Depot. If you are fortunate enough to have one in your area I highly recommend their paper and plastic bag inventory. Prices are very competitive. if not downright reasonable. (you need a membership card to gain entrance to the store but most restaurants have a card and would surely help you) And I am wondering what sort of rubber stamp and ink others are using to put logos on their bags? Is this done by hand? What a clever idea. Charlene Clark

I'm looking into brown craft bags that I'll rubber stamp my TattooDreams logo onto. I like the 'show the brand' aspect of these. They'll have handles. Will report back when I find what I want. Will probably purchase two sizes in 250-500 quantities to get the bestprice
