Hello All,
Finally: invited to 3 shows on consecutive weekends in a remote location, so it cuts down on the driving! That said, I have not been to any of these shows, so curious about good and/or bad experiences. Shows are:
- Woodlands Waterways Art Festival, the Woodlands, TX, 4/14 - 4/16. Setup starts 9 am the day before, so that is a big plus, I prefer to have the whole day to set up the trim line tent
- Fiesta Arts fair, San Antonio, TX, 4/22 - 4/23. Setup is also the day before
- Art in the Square, Southlake TX, 4/28 - 4/30. Set-up: April 27 after 7:30 PM and the morning of April 28 until 1:00 pm, so not ideal but stil doable. Setup the tent Thursday evening, probably the pro panels and/or lights then do artwork on Friday AM.
Any thoughts about things to watch out for, pecular to these 3 shows? Booth locations, homeless, next to tiffany’s, etc?
This year (2022) I did Ann Arbor, Michigan, then Bellevue Washington (Seatlle) the next weekend. 3-1/2 days, 2,200 miles, 127 gallons of gas and alot of coffee between them, so I am trying to avoid that this year, back to back shows too far apart, no time to enjoy the drive
