  • Thank you for the info. We would have travel a long way obviously it isn't worth it.
  • I forgot to add that the jury and booth fees are low, with booth fee of $100, which is not much above what I paid ten years ago. Room rates in the dorm were very low, under $10 per night (bring your own bedding) and I doubt they have gone up that much. It would be a good filler show if you had shows somewhat in the area before or after. I would suggest having repros of your work for this show.

  • It's held on the campus of Youngstown State University in the middle of a quad with surrounding classroom buildings. The grounds are nice with booths sitting off of the winding sidewalks. Restrooms are just a few steps away in airconditioned buildings. Parking is a block or so away in a free parking garage. I last did it maybe ten years ago so can't say much about it lately. I was concerned about the low sales at the time and stopped doing it after 2-3 times. In its favor, at the time you could get a room in the dorms very cheaply. One dorm is active in the summertime and students are in it, although I recall the floor I was on was very quiet. It was a coed dorm, but certainly quieter than a Red Roof Inn for example. If you're close by, give it a shot but don't drive 400 miles to get there. I remember the attendance being low so don't expect door busting sales.
