I was fortunate to get into the Old Town show in Chicago after about 75 years of trying. I have a place to stay and can ride a bike to and from the show i think. The show rules say that your display has to be within the 10 x 12 allotted space. For those of you who have shown there, does that include storage? I'm on Wisconsin and I put the little google man down in my booth space and he showed me that there is lots of bricked space before the sidewalk starts. Looks like a perfect storage area. I know I can email the show but before i go calling attention to my plight am seeking the wisdom of "The Insider".

What Connie said. But if you are on Wisconsin I don't think there are any homeowners behind you. N Orleans is where you can really take advantage of, or rather be embraced by the neighbors. Everything from inside restrooms, access to electricity, and snacks can be found there. Generally you're good if you keep your storage on the bricked area and off of the sidewalk. The church on WI has clean indoor restrooms for you to use, they have a donation jar. Good luck - Jay
Congrats. 75 years is a long time to be patient.
It is tight. There is you on the street, then the grassy area behind you (or not, if you were on Menominee as we were you pulled your boxes as close to the back of your tent as possible) may be available for overstock. Then there is the sidewalk and then the front yard of the house behind you. There is very little foot traffic on the sidewalk, so as long as you don't get carried away you can store behind your booth and hopefully make friends with the homeowner where you can use the bathroom and maybe store some things overnight. Be on the lookout for the homeowner because they can make doing this very crowded and tight show a lot easier for you.
I hope to attend the show this year and look forward to meeting you, Jerry.
