I have stayed in Miami the last 2 season, but trying to expand. I have searched and can't find info on the quality of shows for Winter Springs(10/15-16) and St Armonds Circle(11/12). I got South Miami 11/2 but other than that, would love any recommendations. I did Las Olas last year and it was my worst show, so debating on that one. Thanks all!

I would think twice about winter springs. We tried it the last two years and were lucky to make booth fee and a couple hundred bucks. Plus it's likely to be way hot. Winter Park Fall would be a better option or maybe Maitland. Or even Halifax.
Maitland is a grueling show to do. It is setup on Friday, then open from 5 - 10, Saturday 10 - 10, and Sunday 10-5. I also lost money the last time I did it and I was local.
Winter Springs was okay for me as a local but just okay. They do treat you well though and setup and breakdown are fairly easy. If you've got nothing else to do that weekend why not. Winter Park Autumn has been good for me in the past but it is only for Florida residents.
Thanks Jacki. I have all those sites bookmarked and have seen probably every show. I was just asking for some real world experience, specifically on the ones mentioned since I can't seem to find any reviews. I do pretty well at the ones in Miami, where I live, so I wanted to have some kind of idea what these out of town ones were like since I will be tripling my costs possibly.
Hi Allison, DO NOT do the Boca show...absolute worst show I have ever done for sales...also disorganized. St. Armands was ehh, one of my lowest shows, not even breaking 1k.
Hello Paul, have you looked at our sister site, www.artfaircalendar.com? There are a lot of good Florida shows there. You may also want to check out our www.CallsforArtists.com website. That site will show you the shows that are currently looking for artists. I hope you find some shows to plug into your schedule.
It is really slow those two months. I think everyone is stocking up for the winter season. It seems that Florida waits for the tourists and snowbirds to get there in January.
If you get the chance, will you go to Robert Is Here and have a mango smoothie for me? I really miss them.
Geri, it was the Oct Las Olas....I'v found info on Boca and Naples...I'm really looking for Oct and November, as they are a bit scarce compared to after New Years.....yes, I have checked art show reviews
