Hi guys!
I was accepted to a lot of shows for the month of August, however I only want to do two, maybe three. Wondering if anyone else has had experience with any of these shows and could provide some insight to help in my decision making.
Aug 3-4th -Park Ave Arts Festival, Rochester, NY
Aug 3-4th- Chatham Art & Craft Fair, Chatham MA (Castleberry Fairs puts this on)
Aug 10-11- Mystic Outdoor Arts Festival, Mystic, CT
Aug 17-18 - Gloucester Waterfront Festival, Gloucester, MA (Castleberry Fairs also puts this on)
Aug 31-Sept 1- Hyannis Arts & Crafts Fair, Hyannis MA
(Also a Castleberry Fair event)
I am a jewelry artist. I work in sterling silver and 14k gold. My work ranges from $75-$800 with an average of around $100
In the past I have found when I am at a show with a lot of less expensive jewelry made with aluminum etc that go for $15-$30 a piece my prices seem very high to the majority of shoppers in comparison and I don't do as well. So if anyone has any input on the type of work/price points of art at any of these shows I'd love to hear it. Thanks in advance!
