First, are you traveling to Conway from Rhode Island? if so, I wouldn't go up there for just a show at a senior center. But if you're staying there, that's a different story. Because you won't make much money. Maybe a couple hundred bucks.
But doing the show will give you something you can't get from anybody on this board. Experience. We all started somewhere, and now it's your turn.
So if you're close by, won't incur any hotel or restaurant fees, etc, do it/them. The only thing you have to lose is your space fee.

my hubby and i go to new hampshire alot during the year to camp:] so we would be camping in a tent and the fees arent really that bad at the campgrounds there.
and see, i make jewelry for everyone? of many different religious backgrounds and well, someone suggested i go to a craft fair around here but they are all at churches and i dont know how well my jewelry would be received.
i normally sell down by the beaches here during the summer-so that goes well. i only started selling online because my hubby has been unemployed for almost 2 years. its slow because its just a fb page but every little bit helps.
and i definitely need experience ty:] someone also suggested a flea market but i dont think i would make much money there and some would think my prices are too high for a flea market.
Can you give more information? I believe that there are a couple different craft shows in North Conway -- which one are you looking at? (not that I can give you any feedback, as we haven't done any of them ourselves, yet)

Who is "they"?
We do a couple of shows in Lincoln with Castleberry, but not North Conway. Joyce Endee does some shows there and she's an established promoter.

Hi Manie, I'm moving this discussion to Art Fair Discussions where I think you might get a better response to your question. Thanks for asking, take care.
