  • Many New Jersey towns have only opened up to their residents in the past few weeks. I think the town fathers like in Ocean Grove are just hoping that things get better fast. I have been to the shore since Sandy, in many places it will take nothing less then a miracle.

    Good Luck

  • Thanks for taking the time to respond to my post.

Initially, I was thinking the same thing about the NJ shore shows; however, Ocean Grove is still having their Giant Craft Fair (which has been moved to June this year). Since the powers that be are aiming for a Memorial Day fix up - July 4th the latest, I thought perhaps by Labor Day the Seaside Park Craft Show might be ready to roll.  I will be able to find that out from the sponsor.  What I was looking for was feedback from other wood artists who have exhibited at this show in the recent past.

As far as the schools go, I was looking for specifics from other wood artists on the shows listed. Do these specific schools have buyers who appreciate and buy wood art?  I've exhibited at school / church shows and have found some have only lookers while others have buyers.

    Thanks again!

  • I would think that the Seaside Park, NJ show is or will be canceled. Sandy destroyed the town. Events held at schools can be well attended and usually cost under $100 for a 2 day show, much less for a 1 day show.
